As we all know India is a multi cultural country and is home to more religion and culture than any other country in the world. The culture in India varies with every 100 km. With these different cultures one thing is common, and that is grand celebration of marriages. Though they celebrate marriages in different style and with different traditions, but all these ethnic groups and community make sure the celebration is grand and it involves all the relatives to it maximum limit. Traditionally the arrangement for marriages in India was done by the elders of the family with the help of the community they live in, but with change in time a lot has changed and wedding planners have made their way in to the Indian Marriages. It’s not that, the concept of grand celebration has disappeared with time in fact now wedding couple have started looking for more experienced people to manage their special day.

Today we will look at the importance of the experienced wedding planning. I was once going through an old family album, and then I spotted an image of my sisters wedding which had the top view of the wedding ground where all the guests were watching the wedding. I curiously asked my mother “how many guests attended my sisters wedding?”, I would be very honest it was not a grand marriage but yes was a decent marriage and was about 3 years ago. I was surprised to know, on the wedding day we had hosted almost 700 guests and that was just the wedding day. They day after wedding we had hosted 500 guest and the day before wedding planning we had hosted almost 400 guests. So the sum would be 700+500+400 that would be 1600 guest. “It was a decent marriage”, that is what my mother said. My sisters in laws were very generous and had kept the guest list limited to close friends and family only. I was shocked to see the number guest and then I started to Google down the number of guest in Indian wedding and I was must say Indian wedding are Grand. An average Indian wedding has 1000 guest. Now I realize as to why it is so important to have an experienced wedding planner.

With growing economy in India people are left with less time and they want to save as much of time they can, and may be that is why many of them don’t get time to involve in to marriage arrangements. So I guess it is not a bad idea to hire a wedding planner as it helps you to organize wedding arrangement but it is equally important to hire an experienced one as we all carry a tradition of Grand Indian Marriages. So lets live up to the tradition and chose an experienced wedding planner.
